NEPA DON BRING LIGHT, BUT YOUR HOUSE STILL DARK? CHECK THESE 3 THINGS.

Your street light don come, neighbour generator don off, but your own house still dark; no panic. Master Ironkwe Raymond, 24 years electrician for Amizi-Ikwuano say make you check these 3 things first before you call anybody.

1. CHECK WIRE FROM POLE

Go outside, look the wire wey come from NEPA pole enter your house. Sometimes wind or rain don comot am, or e don cut for roof. If you see am hang or spark, no touch am o! Na NEPA or electrician go fix am. But if na just loose for your own pole, you fit know say na there problem dey.

2. CHECK THE METER

Look your meter. if na prepaid meter, e dey show light? E dey show "low credit" or "tamper"? If meter no get light at all, mean say light never even enter meter.. press the breaker for meter board make e ON well If na old meter, check if fuse for meter board don burn.

3. CHECK CIRCUIT BREAKER OR DISTRIBUTION BOARD (DB)

Enter inside house, open that board wey get plenty small switches. One of them fit don trip. The breaker go dey for middle-no be ON, no be OFF.

Wetin you go do: Pusham OFF first, then ON again well. If na total blackout, na the main breaker for DB Pusham OFF and ON.
